About LAUTECH News

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, was established on 23 April 1990 as Oyo State University of Technology and took its present name after Osun State was created in 1991. It operates a main campus in Ogbomoso and a College of Agriculture and Renewable Natural Resources in Iseyin.

This blog collects positive, publicly reported news about the university: convocations, inaugural lectures, research and innovation wins, student and alumni honours, partnerships and campus developments.

How stories are compiled

Each story is a short summary written for this site, and every one links to the original report. Photos are shown from the publisher or from the official LAUTECH website, with the credit under each image. Images are loaded directly from those sources and are not copied or altered.

This is an independent news blog and not the university's official website. For official notices visit lautech.edu.ng.
